Hey there and hello! Its been awhile, again! Well I’m back and so excited to share recipes from my raw food journey! Last year in March, I ate nothing but(mostly) raw food for 9 days and I felt amazing! With all that has been going on for the past few months I have fallen into unhealthy habits and I wanted to shake myself out of the mindless eating and drinking groove. I was remembering how amazing I felt when I was eating raw and I wanted to get back to that, so here we are! I am devoting the month of February to eating mostly raw foods. I say mostly because there are some nuts, seeds and nut butters that I will eat that are not raw but I will use them sparingly!
This has been one of my favorite shakes so far!
Chocolate Chocolate Shake
1/4 soaked oats
2-3 Tablespoons of cacao powder
2 Tablespoons of cacao nibs
1 ripe banana
2-4 dates(depending on how sweet you want it)
1/4 cup walnuts
2 Tablespoon maca root powder
Add 24-32oz of water to your blender and then add all of the ingredients, blend until smooth! Enjoy!
