One of the first questions that I am asked when people find out that I am vegan is “is that healthy?” One of the reasons I hesitated switching to a plant based diet for so long is because I didn’t know if it was healthy. Most of us grow up thinking that for optimal health, we need to eat at least some animal products. I’m happy to say that is simply not true! We do not need any animal products in our diets to thrive! There is so much evidence that the opposite is true. More animal products, more problems. There are so many resources available these days to thrive on a plant based diet!
