The Artist’s Way Challenge- Get Out of Your Comfort Zone

Day 2 Reflections

Hello Love and welcome back to my space! Yesterday I completed Day 2 of The Artist’s Way Challenge! I am officially out of my comfort zone. Although, it feels good and new and stretchy, lol, it also feels scary. Not scary in a ‘I’m gonna die’ kinda way but scary in the ‘are you about to embarrass yourself’ kind of way. I started a list of ways to encourage YOU to get out of your comfort zone and found this article that does a great job of sharing actionable steps, definitely check it out!

There are so many quotes about life happening on the other side of fear or outside of your comfort zone and I believe that to be true. When I look back on my life, some of the most fulfilling experiences have happened outside of my comfort zone. My children being born at home and getting married in the middle of the desert at Burning Man are two of those moments I instantly think about when I thinking about living outside of my comfort zone.

I say all this to say, I know it can be scary to put yourself out there but you deserve to live a fulfilling life and so much of that life is meant to be lived outside of your comfort zone! At the end of the day, I know that it’s ok to do things scared. We can do hard things, we can do challenging things and even if we fail, we will learn something along the way. Alright, let’s get into these meal deets!
