Oatmeal is one of my favorite meals EVER!!! It’s so filling and nutritious! This is a spin on the packets that I used to get at the grocery store! I diced and sauteed the apples for about 10 minutes with water and cinnamon.
Notes
If you soak your oats overnight, it will take time off of the cook time in the morning.
Ingredients
- 2 cups of almond milk
- 1 cup of quick oats( I used Bob's Redmill gluten-free oats)
- 1 diced and sauteed apple(sauteed with water and cinnamon)
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
- 1/4 cup of candied pecans
- sweet cashew cream
Instructions
- Heat almond milk with cinnamon and vanilla over medium heat.
- Once almond milk starts to boil, add oats. Stir occasionally until the almond milk has been absorbed.
- After the oats are cooked thoroughly, let them sit for about 5 minutes.
- Serve and top with apples, candied pecans, cashew cream and a touch of cinnamon.
- Enjoy!
