The Artist’s Way Challenge- Healing Is Not Linear

Hello Love and welcome back to my space! Yesterday I completed Day 51 of The Artist’s Way Challenge! although it has been a challenge (lol) to get everything done with my mom in town, I’m still managing. The only thing I didn’t do this week was the Artist’s Date and I will put a little extra time on my next Artist’s Date!

Whenever I spend a considerable amount of time with my mom, I realize healing is not linear. Although I have shared bits and pieces of my childhood here on these internet streets, I haven’t shared it all, I can sum it up by saying, it was rough. We often think that when we work through our childhood trauma or trauma that we have experienced later in life, we are completely healed. We fail to realize that healing is an ongoing process that we will most likely be working on throughout our lives. If you are on a healing journey, I wanted to encourage you to be gentle with yourself and recognize that healing is not linear. Alright, let’s get into these…
