The Artist’s Way Challenge- Keep It Simple

Hello Love and welcome back to my space! Another day down of The Artist’s Way Challenge! Yesterday felt like I lived three different lives in one day and it was fantastic! I woke up in the hotel room and snuck down to the lobby to do my journal session and then had a nice little movement session in the hotel fitness center. After that I snuck back into the hotel room to find that my whole family was still sleeping. I did my meditation, showered and got ready for the day while my family woke up, one by one. We headed to Snooze for breakfast and headed back home. When we got home, we chilled for a bit and then got ready for a garden party! We attended the most magical party and had a wonderful time! It was an amazing day!

As I celebrated my 8 year veganniversary yesterday I’ve been thinking about how often we overcomplicate things especially when it comes to switching to a plant based diet. When I first made the switch, I would spend entirely too long in the kitchen (I still spend a considerable amount of time in the kitchen, TBH) and overcomplicate the whole process. Now, don’t get me wrong, it feels wonderful to take the time to create beautiful and delicious meals, but you don’t need to. If I were to give you one piece of advice when it comes to switching to a plant based diet, keep it simple! gravitate towards the foods you used to eat and make them plant based! Wherever you are on your plant based journey, you got this!!! Alright, let’s get into these…
