The Artist’s Way Challenge- Write That Shit Out!!!

Hello Love and welcome back to my space!!! Another day down of The Artist’s Way Challenge! One of the things that I haven’t talked about here is the Morning Pages. The challenge requires getting in 3 pages of writing every morning. For me, it’s more of a timed, whatever I can get done in a half an hour situation but it still has been super helpful to get all of that cruft out of my head.

Although I have kept a journal since I was 11( and still have them) when I entered adulthood, it has been touch and go. There are so many benefits to daily journaling that include but are not limited to:

  • Boosts Self Confidence
  • Boosts Emotional Intelligence
  • Inspires Creativity
  • Boosts Memory
  • Enhances Critical Thinking Skills
  • Strengthens Communication Skills
  • Improves Writing Skills
  • Reduces Anxiety
  • Encourages Awareness
  • Helps Manage Stress

When I did the 75 Hard Challenge, instead of doing a daily progress photo, I added a end of day journal session which was amazing! I’m so glad that this challenge has required journaling as I know all of the benefits and it’s keeping me accountable! If you don’t have a journal/writing practice, get on it!!!
