Day 27 Reflections
Hello Love and welcome back to my space! Another day down of The Artist’s Way Challenge, another day of self discovery! As I shared in my ‘how do you want to feel’ ask yesterday, I wanted to have a chill day and it was indeed a chill day.
As I’ve shared in past posts, this challenge is bringing up a lot of memories and in turn a lot of feelings about the way I grew up. I have been thinking about the predictions that are made about children that have had traumatic childhoods and what it takes to overcome those outcomes/predictions. I know all too well how our trauma can keep us from showing up for ourselves. It can be easy to get stuck in patterns of unproductive habits and addiction. I need you to know that you are so worth feeling good in your body. Here are some of the things that helped me live a more mindful intentional life:

I know it can be easy to get caught up in all of the things that happened, repeating and replaying these events but I wanted to remind you gently, you are not what happened to you, you are what you choose to become. Please keep showing up for yourself and choosing the things that make you feel light, free and connected to yourself! You are so worth it! Alright, let’s get into these…
