Hello Love and welcome back to my space! Another day down of The Artist’s Way Challenge! I cannot believe there is only 30 days left in this challenge!!! Let’s make the most of it! Sadly, my moms visit came to an end yesterday. Although I’m sad she had to leave, I am so soul grateful she was able to come and spend the week with me and my family!
As I mentioned in my last post, when I spend long periods of time with my mom, all sorts of stuff from my childhood comes up. The good, the bad, the ugly. I find myself thinking back to when I would hang out with the neighborhood kids. When I was around twelve or thirteen, I began expressing to these friends that I knew that we deserved better than what our parents were providing for us, in every way. They accused me of thinking I was better than them but that’s not where I was coming from at all. Some of us barely had our basic needs met and I KNEW we deserved better. If you find yourself in the thought process of trying to justify a peaceful existence, where your basic needs are met, I wanted to remind you that you are so worthy of a peaceful life. If the people that you happened to grow up with think that means you think you’re better than them, so be it, you don’t need to explain yourself to anyone! We all are worthy of peace! Alright, lets get into these…
