#whatiateyesterday 1/29/20

Hello there!!! Yesterday was hella delicious! Let’s get into it!

Breakfast:

Savory chocolate protein shake prep

I would like to get back into making protein shakes/smoothies without the use of protein powder! I absolutely LOVE my Orgain protein powders, but it’s great to be able to make a protein dense shake/smoothie without relying on powders!

  • Oats
  • Medjool dates
  • Irish sea moss
  • Toasted sesame seeds
  • Banana
  • Flaxseed
  • Cacao powder
  • Spinach

Method:

I put all of the ingredients into blender with enough water to get to desired consistency and blend until smooth! This combination needs a little work! I would usually continue to tweak the ingredients to make it taste good but I didn’t have the patience ????‍♀️ I would not recommend this combination of flavors ?? back to the drawing board!

Lunch:

Peanut butter banana nice cream bowl

Omg!!!!! This banana nice cream bowl is the thing that dreams are made of! I want to eat this EVERYDAY!!!!! Decadent yet light, I will definitely be having another nice cream bowl today!

  • 3 frozen bananas
  • 1-2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • A splash of plant based milk
  • Toppings: cacao nibs, homemade peanut butter granola, banana walnuts, cinnamon

Method:

Put frozen bananas, peanut butter and splash of plant based milk in a food processor and process until smooth. Put mixture into a bowl and top with desired toppings! Enjoy ?

Dinner:

Beyond Meat Burger with a side of green beans and shiitake mushrooms

I absolutely LOVE beyond meat burgers! I had them at restaurants and fast food joints before but eating them at home is the bomb!!!!! I love adding all of the ingredients that I love adding and knowing that it’s not cooked with dead bodies! Just being real??‍♀️

Beyond meat burger:

Cook burger according to instructions. Top with your favorite toppings!
