The Artist’s Way Challenge- Distractions?!?

Hello Love and welcome back to my space! I completed day 6 of The Artist’s Way Challenge!!! Woot woot!!! This challenge has stirred up all sorts of energy that has been dormant for a while now. I suppose that’s what happens when you stop giving your energy to things that are not conducive to your overall well being. Although it has been challenging(lol) to let go of some of these habits( eating in bed, scrolling in bed, eating waaaay too much sugar) the way I feel cannot be understated.

As much as I love social media, I KNOW that it is one of my biggest time sucks. Even though there is nothing about social media in the challenge, leaving my phone downstairs to charge overnight has been an absolute game changer. I know that it has been easier to go to bed on time because after reading I am not grabbing my phone and scrolling for hours. I have also been getting through the reading portion of this challenge quicker because I’m not checking my phone every 5 seconds.

I say all of this to say, be mindful of what is taking up your time and see if there are ways to tweak it so that those distractions are not so readily accessible. Maybe give keeping your phone in a different room a try!
