75 Hard Day 10- Moon River Festival

Hello Love! Welcome back to my space! Yesterday my family and I went to the Moon River Festival downtown Chattanooga! We had planned to go to this festival back when we were living in California! I saw that Leon Bridges was headlining and I was super excited to see him!

As always, I started my day with a meditation, walked Roxy and Chloe then went for a run! When I got home I made a super smoothie with hella ingredients to make sure I could check as many daily dozen boxes whilst still making the smoothie palatable.I succeeded! I also prepared food to put in the cooler for our day! I made pasta salad, seitan and chopped veggies for wraps. I also packed a bunch of fruit, nuts and crackers!

We packed up the cooler and headed downtown! After parking and walking over the Walnut Street Bridge. We got in line and waited for the gates to open. After getting inside and filling our water bottles and camel backs, we realized we left the festival blanket in the car. I voluntered to go back to the car because I was getting hungry and wanted to make a wrap.

I walked back to the car and snacked on nuts as I made veggie and seitan wraps for the family. I finished up and headed back to the festival eating my delicious wrap on the way!

When I got back, we set up the blanket and chilled for a bit. There was a screen letting us know that rain was approaching so we folded the blanket and headed for the vip area. We chilled there for a bit and just as my daughter and I were going to get flower crowns made, we were told they were evacuating the festival due to weather concerns.

After leaving the festival, we walked around downtown, popped into some shops, ran into our neighbors, and chilled in a little coffee shop just in time for a down pouring. The event planners were unsure if the festival would resume, so eventually we headed home.

When we got home, we were pleasantly surprised to see one of our oldest daughters was still visiting with my MIL so we made dinner and took it next door. After dinner and hanging out for a bit, we said our goodnights and headed home. I started the book 7 1/2 Lessons About The Brain by Lisa Feldman Barrett which is already super insightful! After I finished reading I did my last challenge duty, journaling! All in all even though the day didn’t go as planned, it was a good day!
