#whatiateyesterday 1/31/20

Good morning ? yesterday was a lovely day! My family and I kick started our Fridays at Blacksmith Square! When the weather is nice, it’s so great to have an appetizer and a glass of wine at Swirl! That’s just what we did!


Breakfast:

Before the blender smoothie set up

Instead of starting from scratch, I went back into the archives and pulled out this AMAZING smoothie! I don’t even know what to call it so I’ll call it ‘delicious surprise’.

  • Frozen frozen bananas
  • Frozen frozen peaches
  • Nutmeg
  • Cinnamon
  • Toasted toasted black sesame seeds
  • Dates
  • Irish sea moss
  • Almond butter

Method:

place all ingredients inside of your blender along with enough water to get to desired consistency and blend until smooth. Taste and adjust flavors accordingly. Enjoy


Lunch:

Hummus platter at Swirl

We absolutely love this hummus plate at swirl!

  • Hummus
  • Cucumbers
  • Tomatoes
  • Pita bread
  • Carrots
  • Side of olives

Dinner:

Beyond Burger at the ale House
Nachos at the ale House

It’s been forever since my family and I have eaten out and twice in one day is unheard of! It was so lovely strolling down town Livermore and not having to worry about making dinner! I love that there are plant-based options available at the restaurants in my little town! I enjoyed a beyond Burger with vegan cheese vegan Mayo and veggies, with a side of french fries. and we all nibbled on the nachos!


Snacks:

  • Apple
  • Mandarin oranges
  • Nugo protein bar
