As of late I have been smoothie crazy!!! It’s a great way to get nutrients into your body in a delicious way! When I wake up in the morning I usually have some sort of craving or another so I start my smoothie dance. This involves asking myself what I’m in the mood for and what ingredients that will involve. This morning I knew I wanted something light and creamy so I went with peaches, spinach (Ive been adding greens to all of my smoothies lately to make sure I get some greens in the beginning of the day) chia seeds, dates, full fat coconut milk and raw cashews. I’m always reluctant to post smoothie recipes because we all have different taste preferences but you can always omit ingredients that you don’t love!
Peaches and Cream Smoothie
1 cup of frozen peaches
Handful of spinach (optional)
1 Tablespoon chia seeds
1/4 cup of full fat coconut milk
2-4 dates depending on how sweet you want your smoothie
2 Tablespoons of raw cashews
Enough liquid to get the smoothie to your desired consistency I usually add about 24 ounces of water.
Blend in high powered blender until smooth
