The Artist’s Way Challenge- Got A Morning Routine?

Hello Love and welcome back to my space. Yesterday I completed Day 59 of The Artist’s Way Challenge! It’s so interesting attempting to write about these prompts that I chose over 24 hours ago, lol. I’m a whole different person now, lol. I should jot down where I was going with these things directly after choosing them, in the moment.

One of the things I know for sure is that having a morning routine has made my life exponentially better! I know that even though the challenges that I’ve done or even the challenges that I have in life, go a lot smoother because I focus on pouring into myself before doing anything for anyone else.

What does your morning routine look like? Are you wingin it? Are you going with the flow and hoping for the best? One of the biggest pieces of advice that I can give for someone that has the desire for more ease and flow in their day is to get a morning/waking routine going. Here are some of the activities you can add to your morning to get you ready for the day.

  • Meditation
  • Gentle Movement(stretching)
  • Lemon Water
  • Tea
  • Slow Skincare Routine
  • Journaling

That is just a few, depending on who you live with or if you have pets, your activities might look different. Know that your morning routine is supposed to help you with prioritizing yourself so that you give from your fullness, from your overflow! You cannot pour from an empty vessel!
