Hello Love and welcome back to my space!!! Yesterday I completed Day 15 of The Artist’s Way Challenge! What a day it was! I was finally able to get new tires which meant there was a lot of running around! Because of that we ate out TWICE yesterday. I felt like we were on some weird vacation where we still had to adult, lol.
One of the best parts of this challenge by far has been the unplugging that has happened because I built in the rule of leaving my phone downstairs when it’s time to wind down. I KNEW I had a phone problem, especially at night, but I didn’t realize the impact that it was having on my mental, emotional and physical well being. For over two weeks now, I have consistently slept for at least 7 hours a night and it’s been really good sleep. In the past, if I were to wake up in the middle of the night and was unable to fall back asleep, I would scroll until I could. Now, I don’t wake up nearly as much, maybe twice so far, and I lay and have been able to fall back asleep much faster.
If you KNOW you have a consumption habit, try leaving your phone in a different room when you go to wind down for bed. I know it’s not easy but it is so worth it!!! This is a habit that I would like to keep up. The only downside has been the terrible sound that my alarm clock makes. It’s terrifying and I wake up with the shakes. I might need an upgrade, lol. Anywho, let’s get into these…..
