The Artist’s Way Challenge- When You Heal Yourself, You Heal The World Around You

Hello Love and welcome back to my space! Yesterday I completed Day 32 of The Artist’s Way Challenge! This week has been a bit more challenging because my husband has been out of time which means the mornings have been a bit chaotic. It’s been a while since I have spent mornings with my son and I didn’t realize how exhausting is eating habits are, lol. I could only imagine how my mom would talk to me if I was refusing to eat perfectly good food. It is in these times of motherhood that I realize how important it is to heal my childhood wounds.

I’m not going to sit here a pretend it’s easy to be patient with my children but I know how important it is to offer them the same level of patience, grace and understanding that I would have wanted as a child. Motherhood has been the master class in healing. So many deep breaths, lol. I know that when I choose patience , love and compassion I am more likely to send patient, loving and compassionate children out into the world. Some of the things the have helped me immensely on this journey have been: journaling, self forgiveness and meditation. I have realized is that as I continue on this healing journey, not only do I heal myself, I heal my children and the world around me. Alright, let’s get into these…
