The Way Artist’s Way Challenge- Got Gratitude

Hello Love and welcome back to my space! Yesterday I completed Day 44 of The Artist’s Way Challenge. I’m currently pouting and wondering why I am continuing on in this challenge. I love that I am more creative( although really doing the bare minimum) and that I’m reading more and that I am, at minimum getting at least 7 hours of sleep per night buuuuuuut, I really miss my comforts and my deep chillen, lol. I’m just putting it out there. And we keep on keeping on.

All in all, I am super grateful that I am able to do this challenge right now. Although life feels overwhelming, I’m grateful for this time of exploring my creativity and this time of excellent self care. I have said in the past that gratitude is and has been my superpower. If you can’t tell already, I’m a cheesy MF, lol. In that cheesiness, I wanted to remind you that what you appreciate, appreciates. One of the questions that I appreciate when in comes to gratitude is:

What if you woke up tomorrow with only the things you were grateful for today?

That question will get me all the way together! Reflecting on that question will have you being grateful for things you hadn’t noticed in a while! There are so many benefits of gratitude that include but are not limited to:

  • Generates Positive Emotions
  • Reduces Stress
  • Boosts Self Esteem
  • Strengthens Relationships
  • Enhances Mental Resilience
  • Improves Sleep

Those are some damn good reasons to start each day in deep gratitude! Whether it be a gratitude journal, expressing your gratitude in the moment, mindfulness, changing your perspective during challenging times, gratitude is a wonderful way to round out your self care routine!
