75 Hard- Day 13- Is It Time To Let Go?

Hello Love! Welcome back to my space! Yesterday I completed day 13 of the 75 Hard Challenge and somehow during an intense and busy day, checked ALL 24 boxes in the daily dozens app!!!! I was way too pumped to get my gold star!

As I mentioned yesterday, we have been in and out of doctors offices trying to figure out why my mother in law lost her ability to walk. I also encouraged you to take care of yourself BEFORE your body is in shambles! Take care of yourself NOW!!! I also wanted to add that there are times in our lives when we feel like we want the best for the people in our lives to our own detriment. We encourage them to do the things that we know will add to their lives and wellness. If the family member is willing and enthusiastic about doing those things, AWESOME! If they are not, know when to let go of the expectation that they will want what you want for them. Often times we want wellness and health for our loved ones more than they want it for themselves which can lead to burn out and resentment.

Take the time to ask them what they want for their lives and what they are willing to do to get there, and listen. Set up a plan that works best for them and let go of the expectation that they will do things the way you would if you were in their situation!
