Hello Love and welcome back to my space! Another day down of The Artist’s Way Challenge! Yesterday was busy AF!! One of the things I am super excited about after this challenge is over is actually sleeping in! Because of the way that I’ve set up this challenge, I MUST be up before my family gets up. My regular schedule entails getting up before the fam bam but not EVERY SINGLE DAY, lol. Two more weeks!!
If you are thinking about doing any of these challenges that have you stepping outside of your comfort zone, do it!!!! I know I MAY be(depending on who’s watching) making this look easy but it is not! I also know that it may look like I take pretty good care of myself on a regular basis and that’s mostly true. I wouldn’t call it excellent self care though. I would spend entirely too much time doom scrolling right before bed, leading to interrupted sleep. I would eat in bed most nights, interrupting my sleep. I would fall into these cycles of getting 5-6 hours of sleep many nights in a row. I would snack through meals which is probably why I would be hungry at bed time. I’m sure there are others, but you get it, not excellent self care.
This past ten weeks of taking excellent care of myself has been amazing and although hella challenging, the way I feel, makes it so so work it!!! If a 12 week or 75 hard day challenge feels to challenging, start with a week or two, maybe with a habit or two! Here are some habit’s you may want to start incorporating in your life:
- Drinking More Water
- Reading More
- Moving More
- Adding Meditation
- Eating More Plants
- Let Go Of Alcohol
- Journaling
- Gratitude Practice
- Learning A New Language
- Get Your Sleep Together
As I have shared before, I don’t believe that we are on this planet to be on this endless self improvement cycle, however, if you feel like you are not living up to your truest potential and you want to shake some shit up, a challenge might just give you the confidence boost you need!!! I’m thinking I want to host one!!! Just a thought, I don’t even know what that would entail but I’m putting it out in the universe!!! Alright, let’s get into these…
