The Artist’s Way Challenge- Eat More Plants

Hello Love and Welcome back to my space!!! Another day down of The Artist’s Way Challenge baby!!!! One thing I will say is this no eating and no screen time in bed has given me THE best sleep of life!!!! So here’s the thing, one of the reasons I think I’m not having any problems is because I’m eating 3 full meals a day(yes my smoothie is included that b has anywhere from 400-600 calories a day!!!) When I’m not doing challenges I tend to skip or snack through meals, this challenge has got that bad habit alllll the way together. Speaking of all of the plants, whether you identify as an omnivore or vegan, you should probably be eating more plants! When I say plants, I mean in their purest form! Straight from the ground! As you can see I don’t have any problems with plant based alternatives but the real benefits to a plant based diet is to focused on unprocessed plants! The benefits to leaning towards a whole foods plant based diet ( which is essentially fruits, nuts, grains, beans/legumes and vegetables) are:

  • Reduces inflammation in the body
  • Increased Energy
  • Better Blood Sugar Levels
  • Improved Digestion
  • Lowers Cholesterol
  • Better Sleep
  • Lowers Diabetes Risk
  • Lowers Cancer Risk

Post Movement Smoothie:

Lunch- A Salad Situation:

  • Cucumber

  • Spinach

  • Wonton Strips

Dinner:
