Hello Love and welcome back to my space!!! Yesterday I completed Day 28 of The Artist’s Way Challenge! I have reached a point where I don’t want to do this anymore, lol. I want to go back to vegging out, eating in bed, consuming more than I create and just generally go back to being content with never living up to my full potential. Typing that out feels good. I know that I’m not going to quit but sharing that I am struggling and how I’m feeling at this point in the challenge is important. I wouldn’t want anyone that is watching me do this think that it’s breezy all the time. I do struggle and I have noticed it’s the most challenging on the weekends! I will push through giving myself all of the patience and grace reminding myself that I can do hard things!!!
I had my Artist Date yesterday which was so lovely. I don’t know why I wasn’t bringing a blanket and chillen at the park before this challenge (alone) but I know this is something I will be doing even after the challenge ends. I was able to journal, read and dance a lil bit. Being outside submerged in nature is the best medicine before getting back into the structure of the week!
When I was thinking of this prompt yesterday morning I was thinking about a conversation I had with a friend of mine about Taylor Swift. At this point in time my daughter LOVES TayTay. I am not a fan and that is ok! In this internet age, I see a lot of people going out of their way to put down things that they don’t like. I don’t understand that behavior. If you don’t like something, keep it moving! Everyday I find something on these internet streets and find myself saying ‘that’s not for me’, lol. At the end of the day, remember, everything ain’t for everybody! Ok, Alright, let’s get into these….
