The Artist’s Way Challenge- All Of This Shit Is Made Up

Hello Love and welcome back to my space! Another day down of The Artist’s Way Challenge!!! Woot Woot! I don’t know what I ‘should’ be disclosing in these reflections, lol. I feel like I’m missing out on sharing exactly what is going on but there’s not much. I’m just moving about holding myself accountable publicly. When I was writing my morning pages yesterday I was writing about how I have been feeling guilty about taking up so much space and that I felt like someone (my husband) would telling me that I’m taking up too much space and time with this silly little challenge. And just like clockwork, that is what happened. He didn’t call the challenge silly, but he suggested I take the weekends off. I suppose I should have wrote that someone( my husband) would be so proud of me for reclaiming my time, lol. I told him he can have the weekends back in seven weeks, lol.

As I move along through this challenge, I wanted to remind you that all of these silly rules to these silly games, are all made up. I completely understand that there are real world consequences to some of these ridiculous made up rules but I urge you to push up against social norms when ever possible. The world does not change by everyone doing the same thing we have always done. Where ever you can, reject these labels that were given to us. Where ever you can, keep an open mind and don’t fall into the trap of putting yourself into boxes. The boxes and labels of separation give the illusion of safety. Get out of the box, stay out of the box and remember, all of this shit is made up, so as long you’re not hurting anyone, do what you want to do in this life! Alright, let’s get into these….
